Niagara Falls Work Experience Program

You can start your hospitality career in the Hospitality Capital of Canada.

The Niagara Falls Work Experience Program is for candidates who need Canadian work experience, Canadian work references and ESL English as a second language for work.

The Niagara Falls Work Experience Program is open to new Canadians, LINC graduates, international work/study visa students, working holiday visa students preparing for business school, students preparing for career training, graduates preparing for work in English speaking workplaces, job seekers who need to improve their business English for communication.

The Niagara Falls Work Experience Program meets all of the current CIC immigration rules and regulations and provides a safe and highly qualified Canadian work experience for all NFWEP participants.

The basic NFWEP is a six month program.

The basic NFWEP includes:
three months of ESL business English and English for hospitality careers

Business English pronunciation and accent reduction
Business English conversation skills for informal talks
Listening skills including telephone skills
Business English reading comprehension and reading strategies
Formal and informal business English writing skills
Business English for interviews with customers, suppliers, employees
Cultural awareness for "Western Style" business
Business English for negotiations, discussions and explanations
Business English presentation skills, including public speaking
Business English idioms, slang, jargon and expressions

The basic NFWEP includes:
field trips to work experience locations, business locations, training locations
special work training presentations, seminars and workshops

The basic NFWEP includes:
six months of shared apartment accommodation

The basic NFWEP includes:
three months of supervised work experience

The basic NFWEP includes:
three months of weekly continuing education classes while working

To qualify for this NFWEP program participants must be over 18 years of age, be able to work in Canada, have entry level or specific work skills and English language skills.

Almost everyone can qualify for this Work Experience Program.

For candidates who require additional English language skills there are regular ESL classes at the Niagara Falls Language School.

Estimated training start date is Feb 24, estimated work start date is May 24th, 2013.

There is no registration fee.

To reserve your spot and begin the process of language skills testing, work skills evaluation and the start of visa applications there is a non-refundable deposit of $200.
